TCR | 2007.03.12 | It reads: “Dear Stephen, As editor-in-chief of Marvel, I am burdened with the handling of our character’s estates and the sad event that a hero should perish before his time. Captain America’s will was read last Friday, and while heavy hearted, I am proud to announce the star spangled Avenger has bequeathed his most valuable possession, his indestructible shield, to the only man he believed had the red, white, and blue balls to carry the mantle. Stephen Colbert. Welcome to the Marvel Universe. Sincerely, Joe Quesada.
"Jared has grown up the most. He was 22 when he started the show. Now he’s in his 30s, he’s got two children, he’s married, he’s just a different person. It’s been cool to be a part of that and sit and watch him become a man. I like to think I helped him along the way with advice and stuff, but I’m very proud of the man he’s become." (Jensen Ackles)
“We’ve become brothers. I mean, we’ve gone from 20-something bachelors to 30 year old husbands and fathers. But there’s nobody I would’ve rather spent the last nine years growing up and chasing demons and fighting monsters with, than this guy here.” (Jared Padalecki)
Do you know what’s really sad? I probably wouldn’t have even realized that Sam Pepper’s video counted as sexual harassment if others hadn’t pointed it out to me. My initial reaction was genuinely ‘well, that’s what men do to women in the street’.
Seriously, what the fuck?!
I consider myself an avid feminist and yet it took this video to make me realize that I have been conditioned into thinking that men have the right to touch me without my permission because I’m ‘pretty’ or because I’m wearing a short skirt.
So thank you, Sam Pepper. Thank you for finally making me see that nobody has the right to touch me without my consent, no matter how ‘hot’ they deem me to be.
it’s almost 2014 already are we still arguing on whether to give female characters the equal amount of screentime on movies as male characters
THIS IS NOT EVEN UP FOR FUCKING DEBATE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You’ve lived your life and I’ve lived mine. And now it’s time we lived them together.
